In this comprehensive series, we focus on the full extent of the world's literature, both geographically and in terms of subject matter, covering history, philosophy, psychology, political theory, poetry, fiction and drama, from the earliest writing of ancient times to the modern world.
We aim to use either new translations or translations which are themselves classics of English literature, and the addition of scholarly notes and introductions further illuminate these great works of world literature.
